Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (foot) has been tagged as probable for their matchup with the San Antonio Spurs. The 28-year-old has played in each of the team's last three games and it looks like the right foot strain won't keep him out of this one. The Nuggets are fighting for the first seed in the West right now as they're tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Gordon may not be scoring as much as he did last year, but he's an integral part of this team's success and has contributed more to fantasy teams outside of just scoring. He remains a solid option in DFS lineups and deep fantasy leagues.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (hamstring) has been officially ruled out for Monday's contest against Orlando. He's been sidelined for a number of weeks with a hamstring problem, and Grant's absence doesn't come as a surprise after he was initially labeled as doubtful on the injury report. The Trail Blazers also recently lost Toumani Camara (ribs, lung) from the lineup, which has pushed Jabari Walker to the starting unit. The 21-year-old has posted 8.2 points and 7.9 rebounds in a starting role this season. He has an uncomfortable matchup on Monday against a slow-paced team that boasts an air-tight defense.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is officially listed as out ahead of Tuesday's showdown with the Oklahoma City Thunder. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic's Shams Charania both reported on Monday morning that Embiid is targeting a return during fantasy championship week from a two-month absence following left knee surgery, but it appears that managers will have to wait at least one more game. The reigning MVP's next chance to return comes on Thursday against the Miami Heat. Although Mo Bamba ranks inside fantasy's top 80 in nine-category leagues over the past two weeks, averaging 8.5 points on 56.8% shooting from the floor, 6.4 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, and 0.9 three-pointers across his last eight games (all starts), he's only playing 19.7 minutes per contest since March 18 and isn't the most reliable streaming option.

New York Knicks forwards OG Anunoby (elbow) and Julius Randle (shoulder) appear unlikely to return to action this season. Following Sunday's 113-112 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Knicks guard/forward Josh Hart said that the team would be "pleasantly surprised" if Anunoby and Randle returned to the court in 2023-24. Anunoby made a comeback from elbow surgery on March 12 but played in only three games, while Randle has been out of the lineup since the end of January, missing 28 contests. The injuries have given extra fantasy value to Hart, who averaged 10.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.1 steals across March. Donte DiVincenzo and Precious Achiuwa have also taken on larger roles.

However, not enough to make much of a difference from a DFS standpoint.

The young forwards tend to blow hot and cold and will be in a tricky matchup on Friday against a good defensive team, so fantasy managers should look at other options.

New York Knicks guard Alec Burks (shoulder) is dealing with a sprained right shoulder and has received a questionable tag ahead of the Friday night game against the San Antonio Spurs. The veteran combo guard has been absent for the last two games and has also seen a very inconsistent role since re-joining the Knicks. His playing time seems to be both matchup-based and based on injuries. That hasn't been a bad thing for the team, but can make fantasy managers' lives difficult when trying to judge a streaming option decision. If he does play, he's not likely to receive as many minutes since most of the rotation is healthy minus OG Anunoby (elbow) and Julius Randle (shoulder).

Wojnarowski stated that it's not a matter of "if" but "when," while adding the team hopes to get him back with at least a few games left before the postseason begins. The 30-year-old averaged a career-high 35.3 points with 11.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.8 blocks before going down with a knee injury at the end of January. Of course, it could take him a few games to get back up to speed. However, Embiid's presence will immediately mean less work for Mo Bamba and Paul Reed, who have seen an uptick in production while the reigning MVP has been sidelined.

There was initially hope of him returning when the team listed him as questionable for the game, but Burks has now been downgraded to out. Burks' absence leaves the Knicks without a good scoring option off the bench. He's averaged around 15 minutes a night in the Big Apple, and Bojan Bogdanovic will have a chance to get some extra action off the Knicks bench without Burks.

He continues to recover from a hamstring strain, and it doesn't look like Grant is close to returning. The three have played well, but all have issues with inconsistency, which makes it hard to trust them on a nightly basis in fantasy basketball.

With four Denver starters listed as questionable, there could be plenty of vacated usage on Monday. The 28-year-old playmaking forward has been a top-100 player in points leagues across his latest seven appearances, averaging 14.1 points on 55.7% shooting from the floor, 6.9 boards, and 4.4 assists during 32.5 minutes. There likely wouldn't be a clear fantasy beneficiary of Gordon's absence, but Christian Braun and Peyton Watson would be in line for an uptick in playing time at power forward. The 24-47 Grizzlies pose an unimposing matchup for the defending champions, but it's too early to determine at this juncture how the rotation might shape up for the Western Conference-leading Nuggets.
